Belle cafetière en céramique Satsuma-ware de forme cylindrique. Décorée des caractères fuku (bonheur) et shu (longévité). Une grue japonaise en émail bleu-vert est peinte de face sur un des côté de la cafetière et de dos de l'autre côté. Signé: Suko-ga (peint par Suko). L'emblème familial du clan Satsuma figure sur le bouton du couvercle. Cet emblème, appelé kutsuwa (mors de cheval) figure une croix dans un cercle. Période Taisho-Showa. H.: 19 cm, l.: 18 cm Beautiful cylindrical Satsuma-ware coffee-pot decorated with the characters fuku (happiness) and shu (long life) and a painting in green-blue enamels of a crane seen from the front while at the other side of the pot the crane is seen at the back, signed: Suko-ga (painted by Suko). The knob of the pot has the cross-in-circle or "horse-bit" (kutsuwa) crest of the Satsuma-fief. Taisho - Showa Period
