Décor en laque maki-e dorée figurant un emblème familial arborant douze carrés alignés pour former une croix et ornés d'un trou carré au centre (jnime mon). Fin période Edo. H.: 71 cm, 44 x 42 cm. Box for a suit-of-armor (yoroibako) with two doors opening to the outside and a black leather cover decorated in gold maki-e lacquer with a crest consisting of twelve squares, each with a square hole arranged in a cross (jnime mon).
