Coffret laqué moderne oblong avec trois plateaux (sandan jubako) et un couvercle. La boîte est décorée à l'extérieur d'or ; à motifs de «peinture murale préhistorique» en rouge et de «hiéroglyphes égyptiens». La boîte donne l'impression d'être en bois patiné laqué, dans sa boîte d'origine marquée. Par le laqueur contemporain et professeur à l'Université des Arts Musashino, Hayashi Hiroshi (1955). Oblong modern laquerwork box with three trays (sandan jubako) and a lid. The box is decorated at the outside with heavy gold; a “prehistoric wall painting” in red through which the fabric ground is visible and below a frieze with some “Egyptian hieroglyphs”. The box gives the impression to be made from lacquered weathered wood, in original marked box. By the contemporary lacquerworker and teacher at the Musashino Art University, Hayashi Hiroshi (1955).
