Statue représentant Bishamonten (Yamon, Sanskrit: Vaisravana, protecteur du Nord). Debout sur un personnage de petite taille et vêtu d'une armure, il tient une lance à la main droite. On distingue des traces de peintures et la pagode qu'il tenait à l' origine dans sa main gauche est manquante. Sa tête est couronnée d'une auréole de flammes. Représenté sous cette forme, Bishamon est l'une des quatre divinités bouddhistes protectrices. Il symbolise également un des groupes des vingt-huit partisans (nijuhachibutsu) de l'armée de Kannon aux milles bras (Senju Kannon). Période Edo. H.: 65 cm.
