Support en laque conçu pour accueillir un hibachi 火鉢 (brasero), orné d'un somptueux motif floral composé de feuillages enroulés (karakusa) entourant un blason familial (mon) représentant des feuilles de rose trémière 三つ葉葵 (mitsuba aoi). La surface est réalisée en hiramaki-e 平蒔絵 (motif en bas-relief) doré sur un fond laqué noir rôiro'urushi 蝋色漆. Le support présente un plateau rectangulaire, orné de ferrures décoratives partiellement dorées, ciselées avec un motif assorti. En son centre repose un brasero en cuivre patiné. Période : Japon - Seconde moitié de la période Edo (XVIIIe siècle/première moitié du XIXe siècle). Dimensions : Hauteur 23,5 cm, largeur et profondeur 63,5 cm. Traces d'usure et petits dommages. Le couvercle est légèrement déformé. ----- Lacquer stand designed to hold a hibachi 火鉢 (fire bowl/brazier), featuring a lavish floral motif of scrolling foliage (karakusa) surrounding the iconic family crest (mon) depicting hollyhock leaves 三つ葉葵 (mitsuba aoi). The surface is rendered in golden hiramaki-e 平蒔絵 (low-relief lacquer design) on a glossy black lacquered ground rôiro'urushi 蝋色漆. The stand features a rectangular top with gracefully lobed corners adorned with parcel gilt decorative metal hardware, meticulously chiseled with an en-suite motif. At its center rests a copper brazier with an elegant patina, complementing the overall design. The structure is supported by four gracefully curved console-shaped legs. Period: Japan - Second half Edo period (18th century/First half 19th century). Dimensions: Height 23.5 cm, Width & Depth 63.5 cm. The hibachi is in good condition, with signs of ware and small damages. The lid is warped. The hardware in nice original condition. The copper with a good patina of age and use. !
