Boite de calligraphie (suzuribako). Décor aux tons bleus et verts figurant un coq, une poule et des poussins devant des bambous, quelques fleurs bleues « belle-de-jour » (asagao) sous un arbre et un laque dorée maki-e. Dans sa boite d'origine datée: Meiji 36 (1903). Une signature est inscrite à l'intérieur du couvercle: Eiho. Avec deux petits plateaux pour pinceau ou crayon. H.: 4,2 cm, 14,6 x 23,5 cm Black lacquered writing box (suzuribako) decorated with a cock, a hen and chicks in front of bamboo and a few blue morning glory flowers (asagao) under a tree in gold maki-e lacquer with some green and blue in original box dated: Meiji 36 (1903). The lid of the writing box is signed at the inside: Eiho. With two small pen or brush trays
