Grand vase globulaire (tsubo) évasé et a petit col. La glaçure hekimei varie du pourpre au bleu, jaune, vert jusqu'à un bleu profond et presque noir. Avec une marque inférieure rouge foncé: Kutani Masahiko. Dans sa boîte d'origine signée. Avec un dépliant énumérant les activités du potier jusqu'à Showa 60 (1985). Kutani Masahiko est le nom d'artiste du maître potier Tokuda Yasokichi III (1933-2009). En 1988, il adopta le nom de Yasokichi III et en 1997, il devint un «trésor national vivant».
