Lanterne andon en bois laqué noir et de forme carrée. Les quatre côtés de l'abat-jour sont confectionnés en papier sur lequel est imprimée l'histoire de Takasago (pièce de théâtre Nô). La lampe se range dans une commode laquée marron-foncé avec un tiroir. La commode fait également office de socle pour la lanterne (sans bougie). H.: 99 cm (socle et lanterne). Période Meiji - Taisho.
