Lot de deux paravents à deux panneaux (byobu), chacun représen-tant une peinture polychrome d’un grand arrangement floral ikebana dans un imposant vase, sur feuilles d’argent . Attribué à Kan? Ei? (1731 - 1805). Un panneau représente un arrangement floral de printemps , l’autre un arrangement d’automne. Chaque peinture possède un sceau et une est signée: “ Eio” H.: 175 cm; L.: 94,5 cm (2x, 2x). Set of two two-panel byobu-screens, each panel with a polychrome painting of a large ikebana flower arrangement in an elaborate flower vase pasted on a silver leaf background attributed to Kan? Ei? (1731 - 1805). One screen shows spring arrangements, the other autumn arrangements. Each painting sealed and one signed: Ei?
