Ecritoire presque carré (suzuribako), décoré en laque takamakie en relief, orné de pins sur une plage et au loin des collines sur la côte. Intérieur laqué noir avec deux boîtes à pinceaux, une pierre à encre et un récipient à eau argenté en forme gourde. La boîte à papier (ry?shibako) est décorée d'un motif de temples et de montagnes en laque makie-e argentée et dorée.
