Décor figurant un motif de clématite (tessen), un emblème familial (mon) avec gentiane (rindo) en laque dorée maki-e et incrustations de nacre. La boite contient une pierre à encre sobre, un récipient à eau et un bâton d'encre. Période Heisei. H.: 4 cm, 11 x 23 cm Small black lacquered writing box (suzuribako) with silver rims and decorated with a design of clematis (tessen) and a family crest (mon) with gentian (rindo) in gold maki-e lacquer with some mother-of-pearl inlay-work. The box contains a simple ink stone, a water dropper and an ink cake. Heisei Period
