Rare et grande boîte en bois avec quatre tiroirs derrière un panneau séparé. D'après l'inscription sur le panneau, la boîte était utilisée pour des remèdes contre toutes sortes de maladies (énumérées au recto du tableau), datée du 26 mars 1893 (Meiji); le dos doré du tableau donne les paroles d'une chanson avec un gage de loyauté envers l'empereur. Le couvercle du coffre donne accès à un compartiment supplémentaire. H.: 52 cm; L.: 68 cm; P.: 42,5 cm.. Rare and large wooden box with four drawers behind a separate board. According to the inscription on the board the box was used for remedies against all kinds of illnesses (listed on the front of the board), dated Meiji 26 (1893); the gilded back of the board gives the words of a song with a pledge of loyalty to the Emperor. The lid of the trunk gives access to an extra compartment.
